Tooth Whitening

A nice white smile looks young, vibrant, and healthy. If your teeth have become dingy and old looking from staining beverages and foods, tobacco, medications or age in general, consider professional teeth whitening to bring back the sparkle. With the rise in popularity of make over television shows, teeth whitening has quickly become one of the most widely sought after cosmetic dental enhancements performed in the Madison Wisconsin area. We will create custom trays and provide you with potent and safe, teeth-whitening gel that’s only available at a dental office. These snug-fitting trays will hold the whitening gel close to your teeth for optimal results. Many people notice a color change after just a few applications.

Call us today to reserve an appointment for a free teeth-whitening consultation to see if you're a candidate for teeth-whitening and get that vibrant smile you've always wanted.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are a custom designed thin shell of man made enamel that is permanently bonded to the front surface of the teeth. The translucent porcelain quality of today's veneers provides a more natural look than what’s been available in the past. Regardless of what causes unattractive teeth, veneers can solve many dental issues, including: crooked, worn, discolored, chipped, broken, or poorly shaped teeth. Dr. Stevens and his staff will work closely with you to design a new smile that meets your individual desires from “Natural Neutral” to “Hollywood White”, and anywhere in between. The choice is yours and we’re here to help you with that decision. Our patients have commented time and time again that this is the best thing they’ve ever done for themselves. We see our patients leaving our office with much more self-confidence and pride in their appearance.

Onlays and Crowns

When a tooth has had a root canal, is cracked or broken, or weakened due to large fillings, an onlay or crown is used to restore the strength and natural appearance of the tooth.

An onlay is a custom fit man made piece of enamel that is bonded into a tooth to replace an area that is decayed, broken, or missing. Only areas weakened by decay or fractures are replaced, allowing natural tooth enamel to stay intact. Because more of the natural tooth is preserved when restoring a tooth with an onlay it is many times the preferred treatment over a crown.

Crowns (also called “caps”) can be made of a variety of materials. Our preference is an all porcelain crown so that there is no dark edge at the gum line. The result is a strong, natural looking tooth that matches beautifully with your existing teeth.

Dental Implants

Are you missing one or more teeth? Having trouble chewing? Embarrassed about your smile? Dental implants may be the solution.

Dental implants are small titanium fixtures placed under the gum and serve as the “root” for teeth. They can be used to replace a single missing tooth or several missing teeth. Implants provide a stable foundation on which Dr. Stevens can attach realistic looking replacement teeth...allowing you to bite, chew, and smile with the same confidence you had with your natural teeth. Unlike partials, dental implants are practically indistinguishable from your natural teeth. They are securely fitted so that they allow you to chew and speak without the worry of them moving. Healthy adjacent teeth are not touched so their strength and integrity are maintained. Most dentists either place or restore implants. Dr. Stevens does both...providing the comfort and convenience of complete dental care in one office.
