About Dr. Stevens
Dr. Chris Stevens is recognized as an international speaker on the subjects of smile enhancement, principles of occlusion, full mouth restoration and diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular disorders (TMJ). He has been an active lecturer since 1989 and has spoken to thousands of care providers including dentists, physicians, chiropractors and physical therapists across the country and abroad.
Since 1989, he has been instructing doctors and their staff on the use of computer enhanced electro-diagnostic equipment in dentistry. Widely accepted applications for these instruments have been found in diagnosis and treatment of TMD, 3-D mandibular repositioning, principles of occlusion and occlusal management processes.
In 2002 Dr. Stevens became a founding member of the Dr. Dick Barnes Group. This small group of select doctors on invitation by Dr. Dick Barnes, owner of Arrowhead Dental Laboratory in Sandy Utah, has quickly emerged as one of the nation's premier teaching institutes. Doctors and their staffs have the opportunity to revitalize their practices by taking courses in occlusion, cosmetic dentistry, practice management and more through these dynamic and didactic programs. Dr. Stevens' primary contribution to these programs involves occlusion and full mouth reconstruction for both symptomatic and non-symptomatic patients.
